  - A detailed safety plan must be submitted to the Local Authority and to the Local Police Inspector twenty eight days prior to the event taking place.

   

  - The Fire Authority must be notified when the marquees and stage have been erected and prior to the event taking place to enable inspection to be carried out.

   

  - All temporary electrical installations shall comply with the recommendations of BS 7671 or where applicable BS 7909 and where they have not been installed by a competent person they shall be inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.

   

  - All temporary demountable structures shall be erected by a competent person and inspected and certified by a competent person before they are put to use.
