Mandatory Conditions
- Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
- No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(1) The responsible person shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises.
(2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises in a manner which carries a significant risk of leading or contributing to crime and disorder, prejudice to public safety, public nuisance, or harm to children-
(a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require or encourage, individuals to-
(i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or
(ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise);
(b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic (other than any promotion or discount available to an individual in respect of alcohol for consumption at a table meal, as defined in section 159 of the Act);
(c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less;
(d) provision of free or discounted alcohol in relation to the viewing on the premises of a sporting event, where that provision is dependent on-
(i) the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process, or
(ii) the likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring;
(e) Selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional posters or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behavior or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favorable manner.
The responsible person shall ensure that no alcohol is dispensed directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of a disability).
The responsible person shall ensure that free tap water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.
(1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
The responsible person shall ensure that-
(a) where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures-
(i) beer or cider: ½ pint;
(ii) gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and
(iii) still wine in a glass: 125 ml; and
(b) customers are made aware of the availability of these measures.

Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule.
- No customers carrying open beer bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public.
- Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose.
- Prominent clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the area quietly.
- Noise or vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
- Children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after 10pm.
- Upon the commencement of their employment, all staff will be trained in relation to the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety and the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children form harm. Said Training will be documented and the record will be made available upon request to an authorised officer.
- In the absence of the Designated Premises Supervisor, at least one other personal licence holder will be situated on the premises while the sale or supply of alcohol is being undertaken (whose identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale or alcohol) except in the case of an emergency.
- CCTV system to be installed at the premises both internally and externally. Said CCTV shall comply with the following criteria:
i. The system shall display on all recordings the correct time and date of the recording.
ii The system shall be in operation at all times that the premises are open to the public and shall cover all areas that are open to the public, with the exception of the toilets.
iii All images will be held for a minimum of twenty-eight days after they are recorded.
iv Images will be made available upon request to a representative of North Wales Police Force or any other authorised officer, so long as the request is in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act. Following such a request, images will be provided within twenty-four hours.
- Appropriate signage alerting customers to the CCTV recording shall be displayed in conspicuous positions at the premises, including in the external areas.
- Prior to each occasion that licensable activities take place at the premises, a risk assessment shall be carried out to determine the appropriate number of door supervisors to be utilised. Said risk assessment shall be documented and made available to an authorised officer upon request.
There shall be a minimum of two SIA registered door supervisors on duty on any evening that the premises is to carry out licensable activities beyond 00.00. Said door supervisors will be utilised from 21.00 until such time as all patrons have left the premises.
On occasions that door supervisors are utilised, at least one door supervisor shall have the specific responsibility for the monitoring of the beer garden: shall maintain visibility to customers in the beer garden; and, shall ensure that any noise in the beer garden is kept to a level that does not disturb residents in the vicinity.
All door supervisors shall wear clothing which is sufficient to distinguish them from other staff and members of the public at all times whilst on duty at the premises.
Where SIA registered door supervisors are used at the premises, a record must be kept of their SIA registered number and the dates and times when they are on duty.
The beer garden will cease to be used for the purposes of the sale and consumption of alcohol at 00.00 each evening.
No loudspeakers shall be installed or used at any time, in the beer garden, for the purposes of providing amplified music or other entertainment.
