Mandatory Conditions
- Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
- No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence:
- At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
- At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
- Designated Premises Supervisor must be an active member of pubwatch.
- CCTV cameras must be operational whilst the premises are open to the public and maintained in good working order.
- When amplified entertainment is taking place inside the premises after 22.00hours windows and doors, except for entrance and exit purposes shall be kept shut.
- The Designated Premises Supervisor/premises licence holder shall take all steps reasonably practicable to prevent noise nuisance at any neighbouring properties, during the hours of operation and as patrons leave the premises.
- Prominent, clear and legible notices must be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
- Live music and amplified voice, recorded music events such as discos, comperes for functions and similar forms of entertainment (entertainment events) shall cease at 23.15 hours every day.
- The Designated Premises Supervisor and staff should, at regular intervals, monitor the sound from the Ship Hotel at the identified point as dictated in the Statutory Notice (Noise Abatement Order).
- The Designated Premises Supervisor will erect signs on the pub asking taxis to not sound their horns due to this being a residential area.
The premises may be open for one hour following the opening hours set out above on the following occasions:
- Christmas Eve
- Boxing Day
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday at May Bank Holiday, Spring/Whitsun Bank Holiday and every August Bank Holiday weekend;
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
