Mandatory Conditions
- Every retail sale or supply of alcohol made under this licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
- No supply of alcohol may be made under this licence
a. At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of it or,
b. At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
The admission of children under the age of 18 to film exhibitions permitted under the terms of this licence shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made
a. By the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC,) where the film has been classified by that Board, or
b. By the Licensing Authority where no classification certificate has been granted by the BBFC, or, where the licensing authority has notified the licence holder that section 20 (3) (b) (74 (3)(b) for clubs) of the Licensing Act 2003 applies to the film.
Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule.
- The premises shall operate a digital colour CCTV system, which must be operational whilst the premises are open to the public and maintained in good working order. Staff are to be trained in its use and recordings to be kept for 28 days and readily available for inspection, when requested by Police or any other relevant authority
- Notices stating that CCTV is in operation must be displayed throughout the building.
- All Door supervisors to be Security Industry Authority Registered (SIA). Door supervisors must wear high visibility jackets and must sign in and out in a register provided, using their full 16 digit licence number. A minimum of six door supervisors to be employed on all nights that the premises are open and to remain on duty until the closure of the premises.
- No customers shall be admitted to the premises after 01.00 hours on any night.
- A qualified first aider must be present throughout any sporting entertainment involving boxing, wrestling, judo, karate or sport of a similar nature.
- An ‘Appointed Person’ shall be present at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety ‘First Aid’ requirements.
- Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
- On any evening that a DJ is employed, he/she will ask customers to leave quietly.
- Free drinking water must be made available at all times.
- The Premises Licence holder and/or the Designated Premises Supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pubwatch Scheme for the area within which the premises is located.
- The venue will only accept photographic Driving Licences, Passport or in agreement with the Police a form of identification with the PASS hologram.
- Premises will adopt ‘Challenge 21’ Proof of Age Scheme.
- The Smoking Area must be well lit and monitored by CCTV and security doorstaff.
- 80% of glasses shall be of toughened glass or plastic.
- Glass collectors to be employed at all times.
- No person in possession of a drink in a sealed or unsealed container shall be allowed to enter the premises, except for the purposes of delivery.
- No person will be allowed to leave the premises in possession of a drink in a sealed or unsealed container.
- There shall be no all inclusive fixed price promotion events.
- Customers shall leave through the rear doors of the premises only.
