Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV
- CCTV Policy to ensure compliance with Data Protection Legislation and to assist the Police with the prevention and detection of crime.
- CCTV Signage to be displayed.
- Images to be recorded on a digital hard drive CCTV System.
- CCTV system to be regularly serviced by qualified maintenance technicians
- Access to the CCTV system to be provided to Police Officers at their request where reasonable.
Staffsafe
- A Staffsafe system with both audio and visual monitoring capability will be installed in the restaurant, this system, can be activated by either fixed or mobile panic buttons. It is linked to an external monitoring centre.
- All shift managers to have safety and security training.
Public Safety
- All staff to receive safety training including the evacuation procedure in the event of a fire or other dangerous occurrence.
- The store operates a 'No open alcohol containers' policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in-store area.
- No use of glass receptacles
Public Nuisance
- Litter Patrols to be carried out
- Customers to be encouraged to be considerate to neighbours and to limit noise both when ordering food and on leaving the local area.
Protection of Children from Harm
- McDonalds will continue to employ practices to ensure children are protected from harm when visiting the restaurant.
